Prove Engineering likes to do things the correct way. With our current customer base being mostly in the edible oil business this means doing things hygienically: avoiding flat surfaces, dead spaces and making sure every piece of product-related equipment is cleanable.
But why try to figure out all the hygienic design do’s and dont’s by yourself when someone else has already done that for you? For this reason Prove has decided to become a member of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group, also known as EHEDG.
The goal of EHEDG is, and I quote: “the promotion of safe food by improving hygienic engineering and design in all aspects of food manufacture”. EHEDG has guidelines on all aspects of hygienic design and we are more than happy to make use of these guidelines during our projects.
